Matching Rules Engine
Configurable tolerances, fuzzy fields and auto-match confidence scoring
About This Agent
Data on This Page
A rule-builder simulator with amount-tolerance and minimum-confidence sliders plus a projected auto-match impact, alongside 5 versioned matching rules spanning Cash & Nostro, Securities, Trade Matching and Intercompany — each with its tolerance, confidence score, version number (v1–v6) and active/draft status.
What This Agent Does
Defines the tolerance and fuzzy-matching logic every other reconciliation module runs against, versions each rule as it's tuned, and requires explicit activation before a draft rule goes live. The simulator lets ops preview the effect of a tolerance/confidence change against the last run before deploying it — the configurable matching-rule DSL that plays the same role as Duco's and TLM's rule engines.
Worked Examples
- "Cash — Amount + Reference Exact" (v4, £0.00 tolerance, 99% confidence) is the strict rule Cash & Nostro's engine runs first, which is why exact-value lines clear automatically.
- "Intercompany — FX Rate ±0.05%" (v1, 88% confidence) is still in draft — until someone hits Activate, Intercompany balances keep relying on manual review rather than this tolerance.
- With the simulator left at its default settings (±1.0 tolerance, 85% minimum confidence), the projected impact reads that roughly 85% of currently unmatched cash items would auto-match on the next run.
